Tara Pierre Williams grew up in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana, and has been a longtime educator and tutor. She has taught every grade from Preschool to High school as well as college.
Her tutoring center, Tara’s Tutoring, has helped many students succeed academically. She has a passion for helping children gain a strong foundation in reading and mathematics at an early age. She understands that the earlier children develop foundational reading and math skills, the better they perform in school.
She currently has a Teaching Certification in Elementary and Special Education She holds an A.A in Teaching EC-12, B.G.S, and a Master’s degree in Education Curriculum & Instruction. She also teachers other adults how to become teachers for the State of Louisiana and is a professor at Reach University.
I was seeking a better way to teach students and came upon the Fireside Learning Academy website. In the area I live in, many parents only have one educational choice for their children. So I wanted to venture out and give them an alternative, The Education Alternative! I visited with Erin and found there are other parents and educators like me who do not feel the public school system is the right choice for their child. I knew I had found my tribe!
